Longwall chain systems are our business.

Ellton Longwall was founded by Mark Newton in 1997 and remains family owned and operated. For nearly three decades, the company has specialised in one field: longwall chain systems.

That specialisation covers panlines, sprockets, flight bars, connectors and chain, each supplied, matched and refurbished as part of a complete system. Our purpose-built workshop at Somersby on the NSW Central Coast is the only facility of its kind in Australia, built specifically for this work.

Ellton flight bars are designed in Australia, drawing on decades of experience on working faces, and manufactured by trusted partners around the world.
